Frank.
I'm a videomaker, living in Brooklyn. I used to work for these fine folks. Now, I work for these fine folks. I come from the Mitten. Find me on the Internet, Vimeo and Twitter. Let's just get this out there: The things I write on this blog are obviously not the opinions of the company that signs my checks. Duh.

I made this lil’ montage of all the times former actors of ‘The Wire’ have appeared in current shows. C’mon, I know you were all wondering what Kima’s been up to!

I bow to my friend Sarah’s supreme baking prowess. She doesn’t talk much about her kitchen skills, claims she can’t even be trusted with a hot pocket, and yet she made and sent me the world’s cutest individual servings of apple pie, baked in teensy Mason jars, dusted with cinnamon, and with hearts and letter E’s (eee!) cut out of the crusts.
I promptly baked one up for lunch, and it was AMAZING.
Up til today it had been kind of a crummy week, but whilst inhaling this deliciousness, I decided that the bad things weren’t really that big a deal. Are they ever? Certainly not in the face of tiny apple pies.

Anything for you, lady friend! Sending you sweet vibes from the city.

Brooke Brown, standing by her man. A veteran’s wife discusses how her husband suffered a brain injury sustained while deployed in Iraq, and how it has affected their family. From a large Veterans Day project I’ve been working on, which you can see here. Read more about Brooke here. She’ll amaze you.
